Discussions between the National Environment Agency (ANDE) and the General Confederation of Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (CGECI), on the costs of providing ANDE resumed on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

It is the conference room of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MINEDD), located on the 10th floor of Tower D of the administrative city of Abidjan-Plateau, which hosted this first meeting of the year 2022 chaired by Mr. Léopold KOUAHO, Technical Advisor in charge of Environmental Assessments and representing Mr. KODEHI Gnahoré, Deputy Chief of Staff.

It was in an atmosphere of good atmosphere and cordial exchanges that discussions took place on the results of the exchanges, previous agreements and the proposals of both parties on the various service costs proposed by ANDE.

A high-level meeting which saw the participation of the State/Public Sector Consultative Committee (CCESP), the Center for the Promotion of Investments in Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI) and a strong delegation from the CGECI led by Mr. KOUTOUA Claude, President of the Commission, accompanied by heads of umbrella companies such as the Union of Large Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (UGECI), the Ivorian Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises (FIPME)), etc.

The National Environment Agency (ANDE) for its part, was led by its first manager, Director Camus ATTAH, accompanied by his closest collaborators.

During this meeting, the two parties showed their desire to reach a final result of the exchanges that is mutually convenient, in order to support the development of Côte d'Ivoire through the effective implementation of environmental assessments of all companies established on the national territory.
