As part of its cooperation with the IRSCnb, during 2007, the CNF executed a community project to safeguard the Marahoué National Park, a protected area located in central western Côte d'Ivoire, in the department of Bouaflé. This project, which is in its second consecutive year in this department, was implemented through a participatory approach integrating advocacy, social mobilization, capacity building of stakeholders, communication for behavior change, and monitoring and evaluation.
