The Tanoé-Ehy Marsh Forest (FMTE) has been identified as a high priority site for primate conservation in West Africa. However, this site is subject to anthropogenic pressures, causing changes in the flora and the structure of plant communities. The objectives of this study were to identify plant communities in the FMTE space and to determine their floristic and structural characteristics. The data were collected in different land use units and through a Canonical Correspondence Analysis (ACC), groups of surveys were obtained as well as the indicator species of the various plant formations. A total of 568 plant species have been inventoried. These species are divided between five types of vegetation, among which the forests on land are the most diverse. In more stable habitats within the site, identified indicator species can be key indicators for environmental monitoring.
