Every year on June 5, World Environment Day has been organized for more than four decades, under the auspices of the United Nations, to remind the conscience of citizens of different states of the importance of protecting the environment for the well-being of their respective populations.

The theme of World Environment Day, for this year 2022, is “One Earth”. The national celebration, under the theme “Earth, Our Life”, aims to highlight the need to act for the earth in order to better offer environmental services for the benefit of man, because the well-being and prosperity of current and future generations depend on the richness of diversity on Earth.
