Financing Climate Change Adaptation
Côte d'Ivoire is in a phase of operationalizing its climate ambitions, through its Nationally Determined Contributions (CDN) and its National Adaptation Plan (NAP). It is within this framework that national, regional and international actors were invited to share good practices and experiences in this field. This will allow Côte d'Ivoire to have more structured approaches, with stronger impacts on the fight against climate change,” said Douglas Anaman, Coordinator of the process of developing the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) of Côte d'Ivoire.
In Côte d'Ivoire, climate change is having a negative impact on most sectors of the economy, especially in the five (5) key sectors targeted by adaptation, namely agriculture, water resources, land use, land use, coastal resources, coastal resources, forest and health.
