The Commune of Cocody is one of the Municipalities of the District of Abidjan (economic capital of Côte d'Ivoire). It is the municipality with the highest proportion of the financially well-off Abidjan population. It is located in the North-East of Abidjan between latitudes 5° 19' and 5°27' N and the longitudes 3°54' and 4°1' W. It has an area of 144.59 km2 (20.8% of the total area of Abidjan).
