The analysis of the flora and vegetation of the forest-savannah transition zone, in the west of Côte d'Ivoire, in the Foungbesso region (departments of Touba and Biankouma) was carried out. Surface surveys of 100 m2 and itinerant surveys allowed us to identify 8 different biotopes, 349 plant species divided between 259 genera and 76 botanical families. In general, the environments encountered are floristically homogeneous, in particular grassy savannas, open forests, gallery forests and dense semi-deciduous forests. This study identified 09 species endemic to the West African forest block (GCW), 03 endemic Ivorian species (GCi) and 14 species identified as rare and threatened according to the IUCN (2015). The evaluation of the floristic diversity of the Foungbesso region, in western Côte d'Ivoire, allowed us to notice the presence of a diversity of biotopes as reported in the literature but in variable areas with a predominance of savannas.
