The mangrove is a coastal forest, of coastal, tropical and subtropical regions, characterized by the presence of mangroves, trees whose stilt-shaped roots sink into the silt silt of estuaries and brackish lagoons. Mangrove trees grow on fine and colloidal sediments such as mud and clay. Note that it is a community of woody plants with a halophilic character colonizing the environment.
