In all areas aimed at maintaining and improving the quality of animal and plant products or their production conditions, it aims to:

• provide logistical support to promotional and control actions carried out by State services
;

• implement or participate in public or private research programmes;

• provide expertise to the private sector in the form of services provided.

• provide the competent authorities with the technical elements necessary for the execution of their (public service)
missions with regard to the application of texts relating to:

► the hygiene and quality of food products;

► the quality of agricultural products;

► animal health, food and reproduction;

► veterinary pharmacy and phytosanitary products;

► plant protection and plant production;

► the protection of the environment.

• Identify ways to control, monitor and improve the above areas.
