Agriculture is a sector that is particularly sensitive to weather and climate. Agricultural activities, for example: soil preparation, sowing, phytosanitary treatments, weeding, are all operations that are sensitive to meteorological and climatic conditions. Certain bad weather such as tornadoes, heavy rains or so-called exceptional torrential rains inflict heavy losses on the farmer in particular and on all actors in the agricultural world in general.

Thus, for the resilience of Ivorian agriculture, in the face of these climate and meteorological risks, a set of climate products relating to climate variability and change as well as their impacts are developed and disseminated to users by SODEXAM (Société d'Exploitation et de DéVELOPPEMENT AÉROPORT, AERONAUTICAL AND METEOROLOGICAL), in collaboration with ANADER, “Leader of Agricultural and Rural Council in Côte d'Ivoire”. Establishing a dialogue between suppliers and users (farmers) will allow them to make fair, effective and targeted decisions in terms of climate risk management. It is within this framework that this report falls within. That is to say: to be a decision-making tool.
