The present study aims to characterize the flora of the Marahoué National Park. Our work was based on Landsat ETM+ satellite imagery from 2003 for the description of different types of vegetation and the inventory of flora. The collection of data on flora combined the surface survey method and the so-called itinerant survey method. The surface surveys consisted of placing 40 plots of size 35x35m, divided into the different types of vegetation. An analysis of the data collected in the field was carried out around the diversity and richness of the flora, but also the structure of the various populations. It should be noted that the Park is home to diverse vegetation composed of dense semi-deciduous forest, dense dry forest, gallery forest, and shrubby savannah. Each population is characterized by a structure, diversity and floristic richness that are specific to it. Thus, the flora of the dense semi-deciduous forest is the richest and most diverse, while the gallery forest is the most stable environment. In total, 607 plant species subdivided into 95 families and 402 genera were identified. Approximately 9% (56 species) of this flora represent species called endemic, rare, rare and endangered.
