The aim of this study is to identify the diversity and endemism of Rubiaceae, and to analyze the spatial distribution of its species recorded in Côte d'Ivoire. The Geographic Information System (GIS) was used to create maps of the spatial distribution of each species. The choice of the Rubiaceae family is justified by the fact that it is one of the most important families of tropical flora, both floristically for the abundance and variety of these species and for economic, medical and ornamental purposes. The samples used for this study were extracted from the SIG IVOIRE database. The mesh system was used and through the meshes, spatial structure indices were calculated. The floristic aspect revealed 1623 samples grouped into 83 genera and 282 species, 2% of which are endemic to Côte d'Ivoire. The spatial distribution map of all the samples highlighted the degrees of prospecting on Ivorian territory. © 2017 International Formula Group. All rights reserved.
