The Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire has signed a financing agreement with the Global Environment Facility (GEF) for the implementation of the Project entitled “Integrated, Sustainable and Low Emission Transport in Côte d'Ivoire”. The objective of this project will be to mitigate Greenhouse Gas emissions in Côte d'Ivoire by accelerating the introduction of electric mobility through, the revision of the political and institutional framework, training and capacity building, the demonstration of electric vehicles, the development of financing schemes and business plans.
