The Swiss Center for Scientific Research in Côte d'Ivoire (CSRS) is placed under the dual supervision of the two ministries responsible for scientific research in Côte d'Ivoire and Switzerland, co-signatories of a scientific cooperation agreement between the two countries.

• In Switzerland, supervision is ensured by the “Leading House” appointed by the State Secretariat for Research and Education (SER), in this case the Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss Tropical and Public Health) in Basel whose Director is Prof Jürg Utzinger.
• In Côte d'Ivoire, supervision is provided by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS).
