OBSERVATION OF A HERD OF MORE THAN 50 INDIVIDUALS OF ELEPHANTS IN COMOÉ NATIONAL PARK

The Inter-Village Association for the Management of Natural Resources and Wildlife of Comoé—Léraba (AGEREF/CL) observed a herd of more than 50 individuals of elephants coming from certain parks in Burkina-Faso to the Comoé National Park located in the North-East of Côte d'Ivoire. They join the park with the greatest discretion possible. This transhumance is observed every year in the Warigué biodiversity zone, precisely in the period from March to April.
