Abidjan, February 28, 2022 - The Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, noted that Côte d'Ivoire's participation in the 58th edition of the Paris International Agricultural Show (SIA 2022) aims to promote the achievements of this sector on the international scene.

He gave the information at the opening of the stand dedicated to Côte d'Ivoire on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Paris Exhibition Center.

“The participation of Côte d'Ivoire, an agricultural leader, in this exhibition, which has become the hub of global agriculture, aims to promote the achievements of this sector on the international scene,” said Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani.

According to the minister, the 58th edition of the SIA in Paris is above all an opportunity to share experience with other agricultural powers.

For the Minister of Animal and Fisheries Resources, Côte d'Ivoire came to present its know-how in the field of livestock and fisheries, but above all to look for investors to boost fishing and breeding in Côte d'Ivoire.

One of the highlights of Côte d'Ivoire's participation will be the Ivorian day scheduled for Wednesday, March 2, with a conference hosted by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and his colleagues from Water and Forests and Animal and Fisheries Resources on the theme “Ivorian agriculture beyond Covid-19 and climate change: accelerating the modernization of the sector”.
An agricultural powerhouse, Côte d'Ivoire has included SIA among its promotional activities.
