The Minister of Water and Forests, Mr. Laurent Tchagba granted an audience to a World Bank delegation on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the conference room of his office located on the 22nd floor of the Postel 2001 building. The objective of this hearing was to take stock of the cooperation between the Ministry of Water and Forests and the World Bank, with regard to the situation of the Ivorian forest and the Integrated Management of Water Resources. The Minister requested the support of the World Bank on the restoration of forest cover, which should increase from 0.3 million hectares to 06 million hectares by 2030, as well as the establishment of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).
