On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the ceremony to launch the preparations for the ^15th Conference of Nations (COP 15) took place at the Deux-Plateaux at the Latrille Event space. Among the invited personalities, we can mention some members of the Government, in particular Kobenan Kouassi ADJOUMANI, Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture, representing Prime Minister Patrick ACHI, Nialé KABA, Minister of Planning and Development, Minister of Planning and Development, Alain Richard DONWAHI, Minister of Water and Development ADJOUMANI, Minister of Water and Forests, and Jean-Luc ASSI, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development. They had at their side the Director of ANDE, Camus ATTAH, and several diplomatic personalities.

According to the organizers, COP15 will allow Côte d'Ivoire to leave its mark on the annals of international environmental governance forever.

As a reminder, Côte d'Ivoire will host the fifteenth Conference of Parties on Combating Desertification (COP15) from 9 to 20 May 2022, in Abidjan.
